Bear Valley CSD Website Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Bear Valley Community Services District ("CSD") website (the "Service") operated by Bear Valley CSD ("us", "we", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Service.

All images, text, information, data, graphics, software, code, sound, music, videos, and all other forms of data, media or communication (collectively, "Content") available on the Service are either owned by or licensed to Bear Valley CSD. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or display any Content without the prior written permission of Bear Valley CSD or the respective copyright owner.
2. Privacy
Our Service does not collect, store, or share any personal information. We value your privacy and are committed to maintaining it.
3. Online Bill Payment
We offer an online bill pay service, provided by the Public Utility Web Co-op. While using the online bill pay service, you are bound by the Public Utility Web Co-Op’s current terms of service and privacy policy. Bear Valley CSD is not responsible for the actions, Content, information, or data of the Public Utility Web Co-op and disclaims all liability in connection with its online bill pay service or use thereof.
4. Public Engagement
We provide integration with EngagementHQ by Granicus for the purpose of displaying current District projects and initiatives and gathering public feedback. Any interactions with EngagementHQ are subject to Granicus's separate terms of service and privacy policy as may be amended. Bear Valley CSD is not responsible for and disclaims all liability in connection with how Granicus collects, uses, or discloses your information.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the county of Kern, state of California, and by acceptance of these Terms, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
6. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
