How Bear Valley Springs Improves Engagement, Crisis Comms with Digital Tools

In December 2021, we launched a new engagement platform called The Bear Valley Exchange. This platform lets us put all our projects in one place, complete with documentation, videos, calendar, and tools that allow people to ask questions, submit ideas, and give us feedback.

After the Range Fire in June of 2022, we used the BV Exchange to poll residents on the response. This gave us immediate feedback about how we handled the outreach and identified areas that we needed to improve. This poll got the attention of Granicus, the company that provides the platform, and inspired them to do a case study on our use of their software.
