Chief Dan Suttles Concludes His Tenure at Bear Valley Springs; Appointed as Chief of Police in Atascadero

Bear Valley Springs is announcing the departure of Chief Dan Suttles, who has been a cornerstone of our community's safety and well-being. Chief Suttles will be leaving his position here with his last working day scheduled for January 5th, 2024.


During his tenure, Chief Suttles has demonstrated exemplary leadership and an unwavering commitment to the safety and security of Bear Valley Springs. His contributions have been vital in maintaining the peace and order that our community cherishes.


Chief Suttles is set to embark on a new chapter as he has been appointed the Chief of Police in Atascadero, California. This new role is a testament to his exceptional skills and the respect he commands in the law enforcement community.


We thank Chief Suttles for his invaluable service to Bear Valley Springs. His departure is a significant loss to our community, but we are heartened by the knowledge that his expertise will continue to serve the people of California.
