Bear Valley PD arrests 48 year old man for methamphetamine, illegal weapons

Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia, Possession of Illegal Knife, Possession of Marijuana while Driving, Driving with Suspended License

As a result of a traffic stop on South Lower Valley Rd near the transfer station, a 48 year old man was arrested for the above charges. Since there was only one BVPD officer on duty, the officer requested assistance from Stallion Springs PD so that he could safely search the  vehicle and take the driver into custody. This is an example of routine mutual aid that occurs  frequently between our surrounding law enforcement agencies.

The arrestee entered Bear Valley Springs using a valid guest pass issued by a resident/relative.
