Candidate Statement

The following is the letter of interest submitted by this candidate. These letters are used by the Board of Directors to determine which applicants are best qualified for the desired committee.

Please accept this as my letter of interest and qualifications to serve on the finance committee.

My name is Heather Dobbs, my family and I have lived in BVS for two years. We are all very involved in the community and believe in serving the people in the community.

My qualifications include but are not limited to an extensive background in the financial industry in Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Antelope Valley and most of Kern County. In my 30 year career I was a Vice President with Chase Bank, retiring as Vice President with Tri Counties Bank. I have many years of management experience, operating from a true p&l. I have many years of financial analysis and have also run a successful company with my husband for over 20 years. I believe I am level headed, diplomatic and have a common sense approach. I can serve without prejudice and get along with most people coming together to meet a common objective. I look forward to being considered and serving my neighbors with my skill set.
