Our Mission Statement

"The Bear Valley Community Services District is committed to providing high quality municipal services to the residents of the Bear Valley Springs in a reliable, professional, safe, cost effective, and environmentally conscious manner."


Services

The Community Services District (CSD) serves as the local government for Bear Valley Springs. It is similar to a city government, supplying such services as police protection, fresh water, road maintenance, wastewater treatment, and solid waste disposal. The CSD exists under California law governing special districts (Government Code, Sec 61000 et seq). It was established by resolution of Kern County Board of Supervisors on May 4, 1970 for the purpose of providing infrastructure services for the newly developing community of Bear Valley Springs.
